Jo Box Counselling
Helping through life’s challenges and empowering people to ‘Think Outside the Box’

What is counselling?
Counselling is a talking therapy which offers time just for yourself. Sessions are conducted in a calm, safe and non-judgemental environment enabling people to reflect, discuss and explore feelings and emotions.
Therapy offers the tools to enable individuals to find wide ranges of understanding when dealing with emotional and psychological problems, within a private, empathic and confidential manner.
Every person is different and will experience thoughts, feelings and events in different ways. A Counsellor will not give advice, direction or make decisions for you, they will support you in developing your own thoughts and solutions whilst accepting you as you are.
Starting Counselling, and the ongoing Counselling journey, can take courage and at times take you through some painful experiences and memories. However, for most people it proves to be a powerful and empowering step towards personal growth and healing with someone who really listens.
What are the benefits of counselling?
The benefits of Counselling provides help and support towards effective change whilst enhancing wellbeing, confidence and realistic goal setting for improved quality of life. Counselling can offer relief from anxiety, depression, grief etc along with building increased resilience, confidence, self-esteem, effective stress management and improved problem solving. What you talk about is entirely up to you.
